Three piece Audio Innovations 800 series 25W Class A Valve Amplifier and Pre-Amp with separate pre-amp power supply (This is a rare model-the separate pre-amp power supply is not often available) .
As any fan of high end Hi Fi will be aware this was considered one of the best valve amps around in it's day in the whole range. Its comes with absolutely no gimmicks exactly as it should - no silly meaningless graphs- no flashing lights- no volume bass or treble controls .......all you get is a gain control which is all that you need to enjoy this superb piece of equipment. The system is pretty much the stock condition as the day it left the factory with the exception that the pre-amp power supply has had upgraded smoothing capacitors fitted ( a modification approved by AI engineers at the time) The original LCR smoothing caps were known to be unreliable and so have been replaced with ELNA caps at a cost of £65 each. Despite its 25W power rating the output is louder than you would expect and will easily fill a room with glorious sound without compromise.
The condition of the system I would describe as very good however, please remember this is a used system so age related wear and tear is expected. The speakers in the photos are NOT part of the listing and will be for sale separately Viewing can be arranged
