F355 MR2 kit car

Description
F355 replica Toyota MR2 rev 4 based.
This is an F355 replica based on a late model, low mileage Toyota MR2 with some unique features. The car is currently declared SORN as it is missing the windscreen and Hub adaptors but is otherwise complete (although finishing work is required).
The good stuff:
The donor vehicle is a very strong MR2 Revision 4 with approximately 50K miles on it. The gearbox is very sweet and the car pulls well in all gears right through the rev range. All 355 replica bodywork is included and most is fully bonded in place already. The windows were removed to enable the bodywork to be completed without issue but unfortunately the windscreen cracked on removal. However, the car does have the rear window, door glass and two sets of rear quarter windows included - windscreens for MR2s are very cheap from auto-glass or similar installers so this shouldn't present a problem. Both T-Bar roof panels are in immaculate condition and fit well - the original interior roof cover panels and stowage bags are included and are also in unmarked condition. The vehicle is currently rolling on a set of 15", MRS wheels but I am including a full set of 5 quite desirable BMW Style 32 wheels which are very close to the real thing's size - 8 x 18 Front and 9 x 18 rear. Although the wheels are tatty they are all straight and will fill the arches perfectly. The interior has been fully retrimmed in beige leather (except for the seats which are black cloth), the interior panels would benefit from a wash but nothing more. There are several sets of instrument gauges, on of which has a 180MPH speedo as standard rather than the more usual 160MPH unit. The pop up lights have been removed as they sit far too high on the MR2 to be convincing and have been replaced with fixed place quad units which are more aero friendly. I have included two brand new electrically adjustable sports doors mirrors as well as the original MR2 units. A stainless steel performance exhaust with 5" tips is included but if this is not to your taste there are also two double exit tips that you could fit to the stainless back box for a more authentic appearance.
What needs to be done:
The purchase of two slim hub adaptors for the front wheels and two larger hub extenders for the rear wheels - Dave Jones Kit cars can supply this sort of stuff as he still makes a 355 replica kit. 4 x suitable 18" tyres - 225 x 40 on the front and 245 x 40 on the rear should work. Minor bodywork tasks need completing and the wiring of the lights, the seats could be trimmed to match the rest of the interior but it's not essential. The exhaust needs to be fitted (used Catalytic converter included and stainless performance back box, etc. The engine cover needs to be fitted to the hinges and the striker / lock mechanism needs to be bolted back in for this and bonnet (the bonnets is mounted on the hinges already). The car will need various areas retouched in Nissan alpine white or Black dependant on area as the roof is currently black.
This is a very solid car with very low miles and plenty of power (185BHP with the performance back box and a cone filter) waiting for someone to spend a little bit of time putting the finishing touches to complete. Genuine reason for sale - Marriage and new baby = Goodbye to two seater sports car!
