Part Time Office Administrator, Littleborough - Flexible Days & Hours

The Script Vault Ltd is a company that assists playwrights and scriptwriters to register copyright of their creative work. We require a responsible, self-motivated person to assist in the day to day running of the company. The successful applicant will be based at our Littleborough office (Lancashire). Initially this position will be 8-10 hours per week working 2-3 days. There is a certain degree of flexibility in the days and hours we will require the successful applicant to work.
Computer knowledge and written communication skills are essential. The successful applicant must be a quick learner, very organised and be able to work on their own initiative. An understanding of social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook will be an advantage, in particular using these sites to create awareness of the company. Day to day duties include:
* Dealing with client email enquiries.
* Logging scripts which clients submit and issuing a Script Registration Certificate by email.
* Liaising with our panel of script readers who read and appraise our client's work.
* Monitoring and updating the company's social networking sites.
* Updating databases.
* Maintaining existing filing systems.
* Reconciling expenditure receipts and preparing monthly account statements.
* Assisting the Managing Director in any other relevant administrative and support duties required to ensure the smooth running of the company.
The Directors of the Script Vault also run a sister company which manufactures and retails movie memorabilia. The successful applicant will assist in the day to day running of this company also. Duties will include:
* Dealing with client email enquiries.
* Processing incoming client payments.
* Packaging client orders and franking outgoing mail.
* Monitoring and updating the company's selling platforms (Amazon, Ebay and the company's own website).
* Monitoring and updating the company's social networking sites.
* Updating databases.
* Maintaining existing filing systems.
* Reconciling expenditure receipts and preparing monthly account statements.
* Assisting in any other relevant administrative and support duties required to ensure the smooth running of the company.
