Ingliston Country Club and Equestrian Centre Ltd are looking to recruit a Senior Restaurant Manager for their award winning restaurant Palominos in Renfrewshire.

Duties will involve:
•Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
•Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
•Plans menus by consulting with chefs; estimates food costs and profits; adjusts menus.
•Controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; ensuring high quality of preparation.
•Avoids legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission.
•Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control; monitoring accuracy of charges.
•Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
•Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

This is an exciting new role which requires someone who is customer focused, calm under pressure and proactive in their approach.

Senior management experience within a similar role is essential. You will be responsible for a team of around 50 staff with around 500 covers being served nightly. You must have a keen eye for detail, have strong leadership skills and be able to enforce new procedures. It is an exciting time to be part of the Ingliston team as we are going through a period of growth and are looking for people to be part of this growth.

Salary is £30,000 per annum working 5 days over 7. Weekend and shift work included. Tips and uniform included.

Due to the location of the club own transport is essential.
